It debuted The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection last October with the Evrima and announced the Ilma, which will sail in September 2024. Now, it's added a third vessel to its fleet. The elevated hotel-turned-cruise experience is exclusively announcing to Travel + Leisure that the maiden voyage of its third superyacht, Luminara, will depart from Rome on July 31, 2025 — and reservations are now open. “With all three superyachts open for reservations, the brand extension continues to build on its success, offering more opportunities for luxury travelers to enjoy unforgettable getaways at sea,” the company said in a statement shared with T+L. The ship will have a wine vault, The Ritz-Carlton-branded spa, and a marina with direct sea access. It will also have more upper-class room types, including The Residential Suite, a more “expansive” offering that “caters to a variety of preferences.” Courtesy of Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection All of the superyacht's details are coming from the best-in-class collaborations, including those with London design firm AD Associates, Toronto company Chapi Chapo Design, global lighting consultants DPA, and Helsinki-based Aivan. “Luminara’s design emphasizes elegance and sophistication, with explorative passages, and favoring circular silhouettes over geometric edges, forming a sense of limitless space in each area,” the company said, adding that the “serene” color palette will feature touches of soft brown oak and Calcutta marble. Courtesy of Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection In addition to the opening of Luminara’s bookings, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is also announcing its 2025 season, with 53 itineraries running from April to October. Among the highlights are Luminara's 7-night roundtrip from Rome on Aug. 7, 2025, with stops in Malta, Pompeii, and Sicily; Ilma's 7-night roundtrip from Reykjavik on Aug. 17, 2025, stretching into the Arctic Circle; and Evrima's 9-night roundtrip from Athens, with visits to Istanbul, Ephesus, and Mykonos. “With more time in port, the new voyages allow plenty of time for exploration,” the company said. Several of the excursions will come with elevated experiences, like private helicopters. “The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection brings the renowned service of The Ritz-Carlton to sea, offering a luxury yachting experience that navigates guests to the world's most sought-after destinations,” the company said, noting that its journeys are all about “encouraging relaxation and exploration.”
