World cruise itineraries are getting bigger and better than ever. Luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises just announced its 2027 world cruise, and it's traveling to 40 countries across six continents on an impressive 140-night journey.

The 746-passenger Seven Seas Splendor will depart from Miami on Jan. 11, 2027, traveling to the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific to Australia and New Zealand, and then up through Asia, Africa, and Europe. The trip ends in New York just shy of five months later.

Along the way, the ship will visit 71 ports, making 14 overnight stays at destinations like Bali and Singapore and offering guests more than 480 free excursions, including visits to 73 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The fare also covers pre- and post-trip benefits like first-class flights and door-to-door luggage service. And while on board, guests are treated to nine dining options, 24-hour room service, unlimited premium beverages, free WiFi, and unlimited valet laundry (including dry cleaning).

The ship will be well stocked for the journey: it'll carry 13,000 pounds of lobster, 150 pounds of caviar, 14,000 pounds of filet mignon, 3,600 pounds of smoked salmon, 4,200 pounds of chocolates, 58,000 bottles of wine, and 14,000 bottles of Champagne to keep guests well fed.

“We have seen continued interest and demand to venture further afield and for longer durations and so we are thrilled to announce that our 2027 World Cruise will take place on board Seven Seas Splendor, offering more luxury travelers the opportunity to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “This will be the first time a World Cruise will sail on board one of our magnificent Explorer-Class ships, Seven Seas Splendor, which was launched in 2020 and offers the highest standards of unrivaled luxury, and featuring the one-of-a-kind, 4,443 square foot Regent Suite.”
