Nicknamed “The Bluegrass State,” Kentucky is known for horse farms, the Kentucky Derby, and distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The state’s natural wonders include Mammoth Cave National Park with more than 400 miles of underground caves, the longest cave system in the world, where visitors can tour the caves, hike, canoe, and camp in the park. Attractions also include the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Red River Gorge, Daniel Boone National Forest, and the 1806 childhood home of First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln.
