The island of Bermuda, known for pink sand beaches and outdoor adventures, is welcoming tourists with a special promotion on hotels and activities.

The Bermuda Tourism Board recently announced an island-wide “Splash Sale” where travelers can score at least 30 percent off many popular hotels, or free nights. The sale is valid on bookings made through April 1.

Some of the top deals include 30 percent off three or more nights at the Coco Reef Hotel, Oxford House, and Grotto Bay Beach Resort which features a unique cave spa and other caves that are open for swimming.

Other hotels participating in the sale include Rosewood Bermuda, Willowbank Resort, and the Royal Palms, which will also provide a daily continental breakfast and evening wine hour complimentary.

The 75-room, family-owned, Pompano Beach Club is participating in the sale by offering guests every fourth or fifth night for free.

Bermuda has become more accessible with the recent launch of the BermudAir airline. The new carrier currently operates flights from Boston (BOS), Westchester County, New York (HPN), and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). Later this month, BermudAir will begin new service to Bermuda from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Orlando International Airport (MCO) on March 18 and March 26, respectively.

In addition to BermudAir, American Airlines will begin service to Bermuda from Washington, DC (DCA) on April 4.

Bermuda is known for its many beaches including Horshoe Bay, home to the famed pink sand, and Church Bay which has various reefs for exploration. The island is also home to the 18-mile Bermuda Railway Trail where visitors can bike or walk along the path.

Bermuda saw a tourism surge in 2023, with 713,912 visitors to the island, which was a 29.9 percent increase from 2022, according to government data.
