The Aruba Tourism Authority announced that it is now offering a “Happily Ever After Guarantee,” which gives couples a little more wiggle room on their wedding and honeymoon bookings, in partnership with participating hotels and resorts. Since the worldwide coronavirus pandemic has put a damper on social gatherings and travel, a lot of couples have been faced with the challenge of postponing their weddings in light of the public health crisis. But if you’re looking for the perfect destination wedding this year, but are unsure of how the pandemic will affect travel long-term, you can rest easy knowing that if you book your event or trip in Aruba, you can still have a little flexibility — just in case things don’t go according to plan. The “Happily Ever After Guarantee” allows for couples to postpone their event or trip for up to one year, as long as they comply with a minimum 30-day notice period from their event date. We understand couples at home who dreamed of a destination wedding and honeymoon have been left wondering if booking their special event is even a viable option,” said Ronella Tjin Asjoe-Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority, in a statement. “We curated our ‘Happily Ever After Guarantee’ to offer peace of mind during these times of uncertainty for couples to start planning the wedding or honeymoon experience of their dreams on our One Happy Island.” This guarantee is already in effect and will continue through December 2020. Participating resorts include the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, Aruba Ocean Villas, and Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa.
